FORMER Saints' skipper Gary Brabin made his football comeback on Saturday for Halifax Town.
The 34-year old midfielder, who quit the game with a heart condition while at TNS, played for Halifax Town at home to a Leeds United Reserve team at The Shay.
Brabin, who committed himself to the Shaymen a couple of weeks ago, had a trademark 35-yard shot saved by keeper Mark Wilberforce before showing he has not lost his combative instinct.
Five minutes into the second half, a challenge by Brabin saw a scuffle in the middle of the park involving all 22 players.
Brabs, who lasted the full 90 minutes, also had a chance late in the game.
