ANDREW Yorke, former Barry number two and now caretaker manager at Carmarthen following last week's shock sacking of Tomi Morgan, wants the job full-time.
"I have been given six weeks to stake my claim and it's a job I really want," he said, after his old club had forced a creditable 0-0 draw at Richmond Park.
Yorke felt that his first match in charge could have gone better.
"I'm disappointed but, fair play to Barry, they battled really well to earn a point," he said.
"We had plenty of chances to have won it but our finishing has been a problem all season."
