FORMER SAINT ON THE MARK FOR MOORS |
 |
FORMER Saint Justin Perry scored the winning goal on his debut for Northern League
Spennymoor
Town last weekend.
The former Sunderland and Cardiff City striker was signed from Jarrow Roofing
just in time for the game and snatched the winner
in the dying
minutes against Hebburn.
Perry, who had a loan spell at the Moors
during his time at Treflan, scored 17 times in 30 Welsh Premier appearances for
TNS between 2001 and his departure in the close season of 2003.
"I’m
delighted
that
we
got
Justin, in view of all the other clubs that were chasing him," said
manager
Ken
Houlahan.
"He’s got plenty of experience and his signing is
an indication of how ambitious the club is."
Perry also played Welsh Premier football for Ebbw Vale and Rhyl. |
