Clayton Blackmore now faces TNS in the role of player/manager.
Bangor City v TNS
Welsh Premier League
Sunday 22 January 2006: Away - Farrar Road
TNS won't need reminding that their last Welsh Premier League defeat came at Bangor back in March last year.
A lone goal from Paul Roberts scuppered the Saints' chances in a game that came on the back of a tiring extra-time loss to Swansea in the FAW Premier Cup.
Such has been the turnover of players at Farrar Road that only five players from last season's starting line-up are still at the club.
Sunday's game also marks the first game in charge for new City boss Clayton Blackmore, who will be looking to get his club managerial career off to a good start.
Since his appointment earlier this week, the former Manchester United star has allowed frontman Alex Hay to leave the club and join Leigh RMI and there are likely to be several Under-21s in the Citizens line-up to face TNS.
But games at Farrar Road are never easy as Saints found to their cost last year, so former City favourite Ken McKenna won't be under-estimating the task of remainining unbeaten in the league.
