Wrexham v TNS
FAW Premier Cup semi-final
Wednesday 1 February 2006: Away - Racecourse 7.00pm
TNS head for Wrexham on Wednesday night with a place in the final of the Premier Cup on the line.
With a minimum of £50,000 in prize money guaranteed for the winner, much is at stake for both clubs.
But Wrexham may have more to fear than the Saints, for whom the Racecourse Ground is familiar territory. Their last visit was to the famous old ground was to face European champions Liverpool and a 3-0 defeat was no disgrace.
The Dragons will be bolstered by the return of striker Juan Ugarte, who signed a one-month loan deal from Crewe Alexandra on Monday from Crewe Alexandra.
Ugarte has failed to make an impact at Gresty Road, but was an instant success for the Dragons after turning down overtures to join TNS.
For the Saints, Chris King and Tommy Holmes both made sub appearances against Caersws as they resume full fitness and new frontman Graham Evans could well make his debut after signing from Hereford United.
Kick-off is at 7.00pm with admission to the Sainsbury's stand only priced at £8 adults, £4 concessions and free for children under-12.
The winners will face either Carmarthen Town or Swansea City in the final.
