SAINTS BACK ON TRACK - McKENNA
WP ARCHIVE
TNS boss Ken McKenna believes his side are back on track following their 5-0 hammering of Caersws in midweek to book their ticket for the FAW Premier Cup quarter-finals.
"We played really well, particularly in the second half and we've now got to keep it going," he said.
"We've had a bit of a dip in form but you can't expect to go through the whole season without getting beat."
He added: "We've responded well but the players have now got to stay focused and maintain their concentration. They have to be more consistent and must realise they can't expect to turn it on and off just when they want."
Despite Carmarthen's lowly placing, McKenna expects points to be hard-earned.
"On paper they have got a strong squad and always give us a tough game," he said.
