WELSHPOOL KEEPER GETS NATIONWIDE CALL
WELSHPOOL Town's highly-rated goalkeeper Scott Brown has joined second division Bristol City on a six-month contract.
The 18-year-old former Wolves rookie gained his chance of professional football after impressing during trials earlier in the season.
Welshpool manager Russell Cadwallader admits his departure will be a big loss for the Maesydre men in their quest to climb the Welsh Premier table.
"Scott's a good keeper and looks the finished article," he said.
"He fitted in really well here and made a big impact with the club. We're sorry to see him go but it's a great chance for him at Bristol City."
