BANGOR look set to lose the services of leading scorer, Lee Hunt, after Rhyl served seven days' notice of approach on Monday.
Hunt hit 21 goals for the Citizens last season and has weighed in with another 17 this term.
Bangor boss Peter Davenport, already hit by the loss of Ricky Evans to Aberystwyth, says Hunt will be in the squad for Saturday's home match with Afan Lido.
"Rhyl cannot speak to Hunt until Sunday or Monday and I obviously want to speak to him to find out what his thoughts are," Davenport said.
Liverpudlian Hunt, 22, is in his second season at Farrar Road, after joining from West Cheshire League outfit Helsby.
"I would like Lee to stay, but if what I hear is right he may have already made up his mind," added Davenport.
"I didn't want to lose Ricky's services and, if Lee goes as well, I shall make moves to bring in replacements and already have some irons in the fire."
