UEFA CUP - 1ST PRELIMINARY ROUND, 2ND LEG

TOTAL NETWORK SOLUTIONS FC v MANCHESTER CITY FC

Following the UEFA Cup draw in Nyon, Switzerland last Friday a huge amount of interest has been expressed by the public and media alike in the Total Network Solutions FC v Manchester City Uefa cup game.
In a statement today, Mike Harris, managing director of Total Network Solutions FC, announced: "After carefully reviewing the situation the Club has decided that the rightful place for such a high profile game to take place is the National Stadium of Wales - the Millennium Stadium, Cardiff.
Whilst applauding the success gained by Welsh clubs that play under the English football system, we feel that it is important to highlight the Welsh Premier League in its own right and keep our home leg an 'all Welsh' affair."
Harris continued, "We sincerely believe that staging the tie at the Millennium Stadium will create a spectacle that Welsh football can be proud of, and feel that holding the match at this magnificent stadium will generate further interest in our Welsh domestic league."
Paul Sergeant, general manager of the Millennium Stadium said "We are delighted with Mike's decision to stage the match here.
And we would urge supporters from the all Clubs throughout the Principality to come along and support Total Network Solutions FC and Welsh Football."
