CALE REFLECTS ON GAME OF TWO HALVES
Neath's Dale Evans grapples John Toner's shirt.
SAINTS' head coach Andy Cale reflected on a game of two halves after his side had struggled to overcome Neath 2-1 at Park Hall.
Early goals from Tommy Holmes and John Toner gave TNS a decisive advantage, but the visitors rallied after the break to pull a goal back through Richard French and leave the result in doubt until the final whistle.
"We did dominate the first half, we were excellent and could have had a few more goals," said Cale.
"We were disappointed to come in only two-up, that said, Neath played fantastically well in the second half, gave it a good go, got a good goal themselves and it was a good contest.
"We're playing better every week, we played for about 25 minutes last week, for about 35 minutes this week, so hopefully next week we'll play for about 45," he added.
