THE New Saints have been drawn away to NEWI Cefn Druids in the quarter-finals of the
Loosemores League Cup next Tuesday night, October 28. In today's draw, the Saints avoided high-flyers Bangor City and Rhyl, who will face
each other at Farrar Road.
There is plenty of League Cup history between the Druids and the Saints, with a 2-1 defeat
at Plas Kynaston in a dead rubber during the group stages last season.
The Saints were also beaten 1-0 on their last Welsh Premier visit to Cefn Mawr on the opening
night of last season.
In all, TNS have met the Ancients seven times in the competition, winning five, drawing one
and losing one.
