SAINTS CAN WIN TITLE - RUSCOE
SCOTT Ruscoe believes that The New Saints can overtake the top two and win the Welsh Premier League.
"Rhyl and Llanelli look strong, but if we keep everyone fit and have no more suspensions we believe we can do it," last year's player of the season Ruscoe told BBC Radio Shropshire.
"We lost six players from last season, but we got in the likes of Alex Darlington and Craig Williams, and the mix of experience and youth is good.
"We all get on well, there's a great atmosphere, and we're moving forward."
Currently third in the table, just a point behind Llanelli and two adrift of leaders Rhyl, TNS travel to Park Avenue for a live television showdown with unbeaten Aberystwyth on Saturday (kick-off 5.30 pm).
