|TOP scorer Andy Moran grabbed a hat-trick in extra-time as Rhyl reached the final at the expense of plucky Cwmbran.
With a swirling win spoiling any attempt to play constructive football, the game was scoreless at the end of 90 minutes.
Although a Moran shot was deflected for a corner and Crows' keeper Gareth Wesson saved well from Timmy Edwards, chances were few and far between in near monsoon conditions.
Wesson made a fine save from a Chris Adamson header to send the game into extra-time, when the floodgates opened.
Moran jinked his way past two defenders to open the scoring, Gary Powell made in 2-0 from an Adamson rebound and within minutes Moran scored again.
Although Mike Fowler replied for Cwmbran before half-time in extra-time, Moran completed his hat-trick to make the game safe for Rhyl and Fowler's second was mere consolation for the south Wales side.
