WITH the top two clubs in the Welsh Premier both reaching the Welsh Cup final, the fourth placed league club will qualify for a place in the Uefa InterToto Cup, barring a major upset.
Haverfordwest County are currently in pole position for a Uefa Cup spot in third place with 53 points from 27 games played.
Three clubs are vying for the other place - Aberystwyth (49 points from 28), Caersws (47 from 28) and Bangor City (46 from 27).
Bangor City represented the Welsh Premier in the competition this season, losing to Roumanian side Gloria Bistrita.
There are mixed feelings at some clubs about playing in the InterToto Cup. Because the first round is played in June, clubs have a very short summer break and a season that lasts nearly 11 months.
Representing Wales in the InterToto also placed a great financial strain on the Citizens, who were only able to compete through the generosity of their chairman.
