AIRBUS CLINCH PLACE IN TOP FLIGHT
AIRBUS UK clinched the Cymru Alliance title and promotion to the Welsh Premier, after a narrow 2-1 home win over Flint Town United.
With five games remaining, they have a 20-point lead over second placed Buckley Town.
A 30th minute penalty from Steve Hughes and a James McIntosh goal put them two-up at the break, with Lee Taylor's late goal for Flint a mere consolation.
The Planemakers plan to start their first-ever campaign in the top flight with a ground-share at former League of Wales outfit Conwy, 40 miles away from their Broughton home.
The move has been approved by the Welsh Premier clubs, but bottom club Barry Town had written an official letter of objection to the ground-share.
