Mark Ovendale
GOALKEEPER Mark Ovendale has re-joined Barry Town.
The 29-year-old, who won a league championship with Barry, was released by Second Division side Luton Town at the end of last season.
Ovendale moved to the Hatters for 425,000 in 1998 after a successful two seasons with Bournemouth.
His arrival at the Welsh Premier champions puts the future of Abiodun Baruwa in doubt.
The Nigerian joined Barry last season, but some erratic performances - particularly in the Welsh Cup final - did not impress the Jenner Park faithful.
Barry have also announced the new signings of Paul Byrne and Danny Ocquaye
Byrne, 20, has been released by Port Vale after just one season as a professional.
And Ocquaye, also 20, joins from Ryman League club Kingstonian.
Barry favourites Adebayo Akinfenwa and Tom Ramasut have signed new one year contracts.
