TICKET prices announced by Saints are designed to produce a bumper family day out for the UEFA tie second leg at the Millennium Stadium.
A visit to the Cardiff stadium for the second leg against the Manchester City stars will cost children just £5 for the lower tier on August 28 with adults paying £10.
The middle tier of the stadium will cost £20 without concessions.
TNS spokesman Richard Hann said that he had been to the stadium and admired the facilities that will greet the teams. “Manchester City have not played there and they are looking forward to it as much as we are,” he said.
TNS who already have the tickets on sale, are hoping that those making the journey from their heartland of the Oswestry and Llansantffraid areas will be augmented by a large following of Welsh soccer fans.
“We are hoping to draw people in from South and Mid Wales and make it a family evening out in the summer holidays,” he said. Tickets for the first leg at The City of Manchester Stadium on August 14 do not go on sale until July 14.
People who buy tickets for the second leg after August 13 will pay a premium with tickets rising to £15 (£7.50) and £25 respectively.
The club is marketing the tickets through the on-line Stadium Ticket Line and Ticketmaster, but also has a limited number of tickets at their Oswestry HQ which are available if supporters send a cheque made payable to Total Network Solutions FC, together with a stamped addressed envelope. Saints are not able to deal with telephone or personal ticket inquiries.
