Dave Norman
EX-SAINT and former Oswestry Town boss Dave Norman has signed for Caernarfon.
Midfielder Norman, 29, declined a place in the new Saints/Oswestry set-up and his departure from Oswestry alerted a number of Welsh Premier clubs who were also interested.
In the end, Norman (pictured) decided to join Caernarfon Town, who are managed by former Bangor City and TNS team-mate, Adie Jones.
Norman spent three seasons at Park Hall and became number two in the management team at the start of 2001/2.
He was appointed manager in February 2002 and made some astute signings to keep Town in the Welsh Premier by the skin of their teeth for two seasons running.
However, on the demise of Oswestry, he made it clear that he wished to return to playing for the time being at least, although he did not rule out a return to management in the future.
As well as appearing for Llansantffraid, Norman has turned out for Bangor City, Colwyn Bay, Telford United, Barry Town, Northwich Victoria, Macclesfield Town and Rhyl during a long and distinguished career.
He has also represented the British Universities.
