BANGOR manager Peter Davenport (above) has spoken out to allay fears that City are missing out on new players.
He spoke after Phil Baker signed for Aberstwyth Town, days after defender Chris Short made the same journey to become assistant manager.
"The players I'm after are getting paid until the end of July, so they wont be joining us until then", said Davenport.
"It's likely that one or two will be on view in the friendlies at the end of the month, but it will probably be August 1st before we can announce new signings".
Reading between the lines, City fans can expect newcomers from English League football, on a par with others who have been - and gone at Farrar Road over the past couple of seasons.
