ADIE Jones, who was sacked in February after nearly three seasons at Caernarfon Town, is the new manager of Unibond League outfit Colwyn Bay.
He replaces Jimmy Mullen, who left the Seagulls a fortnight ago.
Jones, a former Bangor City, Newtown, Oswestry Town, Rhyl and TNS player, went on to manage Rhyl and Caernarfon, winning the Cymru Alliance League title at both clubs, and he was disappointed to be sacked by the Canaries.
"When one door closes, another opens and this is a new challenge that I'm really looking forward to," said Jones.
"Colwyn Bay are a big club and, unfortunately, over the last two seasons they have been on a downward spiral. But the potential is still there and I'll be starting work straight away.
"I've got a lot of contacts in the game and the aim is to bring in some experienced players and look for the best local talent.
"This will be my first involvement in the UniBond League, but I've seen some of the clubs in action and know many of the players.
"I've had six or seven weeks off to recharge by batteries and now I'm raring to go," he added.
