TNS DUO IN LEAGUE'S DREAM TEAM
John Leah and Chris King.
TWO players from The New Saints have been selected for the Welsh Premier "dream team" in the annual vote of league managers.
Both Chris King and John Leah have been named in the eleven for the second consecutive season, with striker Michael Wilde selected for the bench, despite missing a large chunk of the campaign with a dislocated shoulder.
Wilde only missed out to Bangor's Ashley Stott by the narrowest of margins, seven votes to six.
Double winners Llanelli provide four players - Golden Boot winner Rhys Griffiths retains his place from last season after scoring another 40 league goals, while team-mates Stuart Jones, Wyn Thomas and Craig Jones are new selections in the back four and midfield.
Goalkeeper Lee Kendall (Rhyl) is named for the third year running along with central defender George Horan (Rhyl), while new to the team are Welshpool midfielder Chris Venables and Bangor City duo Sion Edwards and club leading scorer Stott.
On the substitutes bench are 'keeper Neil Thomas (Carmarthen Town), defenders Kyle Jacobs (Welshpool) and Michael Johnston (Bangor City), midfielders Craig Jones (Rhyl) and Andrew Mumford (Llanelli) and Wilde.
Other Saints to figure in managers' selections were defenders Phil Baker, Duane Courtney and Martyn Naylor, midfielder Scott Ruscoe and frontmen Luke Holden and Jamie Wood.
