EXTENDED ACCIES' DEAL FOR KING
Chris King - an extended deal.
ACCRINGTON Stanley have extended the contract of former TNS defender Chris King until the end of the season.
Wing back King, who left the Saints in the close season to pursue an opportunity to play in League Two, was initially offered a six-month deal by Accies' boss John Coleman, but has made an immediate impact in East Lancashire and has started every game for the club this season.
The son of former Tranmere Rovers and Bangor City player Alan King, he joined TNS from Southport in the summer of 2002 and played a key part in securing three Welsh Premier titles, the Welsh Cup, Loosemores League Cup and FAW Premier Cup during his six seasons at the club.
In all, he made 128 domestic league appearances.
