Steven Beck
rounds John Dunt to set-up the first goal.
Despite being forced to field a makeshift side through illness and suspension, with reserve-teamer
Cameron Dalton making his debut at full-back, TNS cruised to a three-goal interval lead.
But a disjointed second-half display allowed the Seasiders back into the game and, encouraged
by goals from Jack Lewis and Steve Bowes, they levelled with the last action of the game.
The Saints dominated the first period, with Steven Beck's shot deflected into his own net by
Andy Davies after 20 minutes.
John Leah's wonder strike from 25-yards followed from a left-wing corner and, when Michael
Wilde set-up Alfie Carter for the third, the visitors looked down and out.
John Dunt did well to save Carter's shot soon after the resumption but, after Neil Gibson and
Steve Bowes had gone close for the visitors, Saints got a wake-up call when Lewis got free down
the left to score with an angled drive into the far corner.
Things got worse for the hosts when Craig Whitfield conceded a free-kick on the edge of the
box and the set-piece found Bowes, who netted from close range.
And the same player provided the cross from which manager Neil Gibson headed into the far corner
with the last action of the match.
