FOOTBALL returned to Park Hall after an absence of four years when The New Saints made it their home ground on 1 September 2007.
Oswestry Town first used the formerly Council-owned stadium on 28 August 2021 but, after that club's financial problems and the merger with TNS, it fell into disrepair and was purchased by Mike Harris.
Completely redeveloped at a cost of more than £3 million to house "The Venue", an impressive leisure development, the playing area was completely reconstructed and now has an artificial Ligaturf pitch which is FIFA 2* approved.
There are currently 250 temporary seats with plans to upgrade to 3,000 capacity in 2008.
The ground is fully floodlit with 500 Lux lights that can also be used at a lower, "community" setting for pitch hire.
Admission charges for 2007/8 are £7.50 adults, £3 OAPs and children.
A programme is available price £1.
The adjacent venue houses a large sponsors' lounge, bars and restaurant/snack bar, children's play area, an eight-lane 10-pin bowling alley, leisure clubs and other facilities.
Saturday and Sunday kick-offs are at 2.30, evening kick-offs at 7.30 pm.
