Why isn't there an option
"Total B*ll*cks"?
That's more appropriate. |

On the whole I think it is good for the league as Mike Harris does appear to have Welsh Premier/League of Wales interests at heart. Not too sure about the village which has a lot of football history attached to it. Could the locals form another team and start again in the Montgomeryshire League's? It would be good if that happened with the blessing of TNS FC. _________________ Join the Mid Wales football mailing list

While the scope is there to create bigger/ stronger club which i am all for, to call it TNS OSWESTRY would get more of a following from the town. This would make it seem more like a merger than a takeover. How do the people of llansanffraid feel about having to travel & watch thier home games in england? |

Well if two clubs can focus their good points as one, then why not?
In the unlikely situation that Lido and Port Talbot were to merge, they would clearly be able to sustain a far bigger Welsh Prem club.
However, the merger cannot form a president as their are very few clubs who could merge in Wales, due to distance and costs.
Nice to see Aber have joined forces with Penparcau to create a 3rd team. _________________ "..see the world in Green and Blue..." |

I raised this "merger" idea once before, and it never went down well.
Caersws have fielded a good qulaity squad, capable of Euro competition for years.
Newtown are mediocre, and too proud to merge with the bluebirds.
Shame really! _________________ "..see the world in Green and Blue..." |
