Difficult to see how the scoreline for the second leg will be any different (if not greater) than that of the first, even with the availability of Evans and Holmes, as the passing, movement, and through balls of their midfield did more than anything to emphasise the difference in class that 60m buys you, they are in fact potential winners of the trophy.

Playing to a rigid game plan certainly kept them at bay in the first half, but if Ruscoe playing wide on the left was designed to track Wright-Phillips, he went that-a-way

I think Ken Mac is now in a no win situation, does he stick with 4-5-1 and try to keep the aggregate score respectable, try a more positive 4-4-2 (expected that when Wood came on for Bridgewater), or revert to the league formation of 3-5-2 and risk another 2-7 home UEFA defeat.

Either way the tie is effectively over and should they get a couple more goals in the first half they may ease off as a matter of etiquette, (there's no chance of them getting a man sent off as its their disciplinary record thats got them here in the first place).
Expect the five who didn't participate in the first leg to get a game at some stage, the experience should set the players in good stead for Nationwide teams in the Premier Cup.

But who is going to want to watch Welsh Premier football after this, the players, the atmosphere, the crowd, the stadium, Man City appeared to have it all....... all except matchday programmes that is !

TNS Man of the Match - Taylor for keeping Fowler and Anelka out in the first half, his goal line clearance, and came closest to scoring after the break.
Aggrey and Davies pick of the rest.

Man City Man of the Match - Seaman, outstanding throughout, made the art of goalkeeping look easy, didn't let the big occasion get to him and visibly grew in confidence as the game progressed, as for that save from Davies in the second half, no wonder he re-wrote the record book and had it shredded !
