After tonights super show; the COMSTAD opener, TNS may be up for sweepinbg across other Welsh opposition. A solid back line could cope with constant waves of attacks.
TNS struggled to get shots on target (I saw one) and off target I think there was 2. Seaman could brush his hair freely, and safely.
Good to see 1000+ TNS fans, and numerous "Madchester Waves" around the arena were made by TNS and City fans.
Good clean family atmosphere - no racism, and foul language.
The second leg will be interesting; however, I reckon City will be aiming for more than 5.
What the hell is the TNS Terrier? Where'd they dig that mascot up from? The Terrier was more dalmation-meets-labrador!
TNS put on a brave show, and the Welsh should be proud.
"Show WP on BBC" banner was a nice touch. _________________ "..see the world in Green and Blue..." |

Saints did Welsh football proud - there have been many worse results against far worse opposition in previous years.
They only had 30% of the possession, but the damage limitation tactics were spot on and TNS stuck to the game plan.
The stadium is superb with a brilliant atmosphere.
There were also Rhyl F C and Afan Lido (Seasiders) banners! |

Dull by normal Maine Road standards... but times will change.
Are TNS going to show some football skills and try to get a goal or two in the next leg? _________________ "..see the world in Green and Blue..." |

I was dead pleased with our performance:
we did have a few good passing moves
if we were in the English league then we would be in at least the Doc. Martins
Only 1-0 down at H/T
city are obviously going to be much fitter than us
Friendly atmosphere
Only 2 things annoyed me
a) No programmes left by the time i got in
b) Having to walk 15 minute dout of our way to get back to the car, and that was after sneaking through a line of cops.
Generally, a good night
Altogether now:
at home, we'll beat you at home.......... |

Weaver made two crucial saves stopping TNS from being in front. _________________ "..see the world in Green and Blue..." |

'Spot' the dog used to make regular apearances at Treflan, but hasn't been sighted there for a long time. Maybe 2 or 3 seasons ago i remember him, sometime around juts before the temporary stand was put up before the Wrexham game in the cup. |

You should keep them there for all the games - get more families visiting! _________________ "..see the world in Green and Blue..." |
