The Midland Combination League is one of four leagues at the second level of the FA Women's Pyramid of Football. It consists of Women's Football Clubs who qualify by becoming the champions of the East or West Midlands Regional Leagues and each season our winner is promoted to the FA Women's Premier League Division One North.

TNS Ladies 2005
ALTHOUGH formed only in August 2001, TNS Ladies have already gained promotion twice through the ladies' football pyramid.
The girls also won the Women's Shropshire County Cup at the first attempt.
Formed from the Shrewsbury Town WFC youth team, they have several players that have been involved at junior international level and many more who have represented their County, in the process winning many international tournaments.
With opportunities limited in the Shrewsbury senior team - and an offer from Mike Harris to become TNS LFC - the girls voted 100% in favour of the move, joining the West Midland North Division for the 2001/2 season and finishing runners-up to Crewe by a single point (maddeningly they scored a last minute goal in their final game to pip TNS).
TNS Ladies parade the Shropshire Cup which they won in April 2006 with victory over Shrewsbury Town at the Gay Meadow.
Season 2002/3 brought promotion to the West Midlands Premier League, but only after a highly charged League AGM, where a proposal was made to kick the team out of the league because they played their home matches outside England. But the ladies won the argument with a unanimous vote in our favour by the member clubs.
In fact, TNS Ladies have played at several grounds - Baschurch College is now the regular home ground - but they spent most of the previous season at Oswestry's Park Hall and also make occasional appearances at Treflan.
The team went into 2004/5 as joint favourites with West Bromwich Albion, but TNS were not to be denied and achieved the feat of going through the season unbeaten - a superb achievement - to claim the crown.
They were promoted to the Midland Combination in the second tier of English ladies football.
