FIVE STAR SHOW MARRED BY LINESMAN'S ACCIDENT

Pre-match drama as a linesman is taken to hospitalA FIVE star performance by TNS was an encouraging start to the Welsh Premier season.
But the euphoria was marred by an unusual injury to assistant referee Mike Gillham, who broke his leg in a freak collision with Tim Alexander.
The injury was immediately diagnosed by referee Kevin Parry, who is a paramedic.
TNS repel a Rhyl attackUndeterred by a 20 minute hiatus for the injured official to be taken to hospital, Gary Brabin ran things from midfield and Rhyl were rocked back on their heels by constant TNS raids.
Martyn Naylor's superb 25 yard volley was the pick of the goals for TNS, whose other scorers were John Toner, Chris Taylor, Scott Ruscoe and substitute Justin Perry. A great start for TNS but something of a shock for fancied Rhyl.
