BARRY DENT SAINTS' TITLE HOPES

TNS had their league title hopes dented after crashing to defeat at leaders, Barry Town.
Saints were always up against it after being forced to field a depleted side, with manager Andy Cale included on the bench.
But they almost took a second minute lead when Ricky Evans spotted keeper Dave Wells off his line, but his 35-yard effort narrowly skimmed the bar.
However, Barry gained the initiative five minutes later when the unmarked Justin Perry fired home from the left of the box.
The battling Saints went close when Tim Alexander shot wide, but they were level on 27 minutes as Chris Edge forced the ball home from close range after Wells had fumbled an Arwel Jones header from a Ricky Evans corner.
Lee Barrow then restored the Barry lead following a corner six minutes later with Gareth Wilson hitting the bar early in the second half.
Hopes of clawing their way back into the game faded as the defending champions took charge in the last half hour after a 62nd minute speculative effort from Richard Jones slipped through the grasp of diving keeper Lee Williams.
Chris Fry volleyed the fourth goal on 80 minutes before Jones completed the tally when he chipped Williams two minutes from time.
