WILDE SPURS SAINTS TO VISTORY
SAINTS continued their march towards their first Welsh Premier league title for three years with a hard-earned victory at blustery Deeside College last night. The elements spoiled the first half which was evenly contested, with neither side looking capable of breaking down defences. But the visitors took the lead 14 minutes into the second half when substitute Mike Wilde cracked the ball into the bottom corner of the net. TNS, with six matches still to play, are now favourites for the title and have an opportunity to increase their points advantage over Barry Town when they meet Carmarthen at home on Saturday. |
