SAINTS EXTEND THEIR LEAD

TNS took full advantage of Barry's Welsh Cup involvement to move a step closer to their second league title in four years.
Although never in top gear, Ken McKenna's side were too strong for opponents still desperate for points to ensure their Welsh Premier survival.
"It's been a long and difficult season for us and just about everything that could go wrong has gone wrong," said Carmarthen boss Tomi Morgan.
"But we still need to conjure a win from somewhere to ease our situation. We must not rely on other sides to help us out."
The hosts were a goal up inside two minutes, Scott Ruscoe benefiting from hesitancy in the visitors defence to head past Gareth Williams.
Steve Evans doubled the advantage in the 58th minute, via the penalty spot.
TNS now have a four-point lead on Barry with both sides having five games left to play.
