MORGAN MAGIC GIVES SAINTS THE EDGE

Inter v LlansantffraidSAINTS took a giant stride towards a place in the Welsh Cup final with a crucial first-leg win in Cardiff.
They were well worth their lead after producing a battling all-round display.
The only drama in a cagey first half came on the stroke of half-time, when a false fire alarm produced a temporary halt to proceedings while the main stand was evacuated.
This sparked greater urgency from both sides after the break, with midfielder Ian Evans denied by a fine save from George Wood.
The visitors grabbed the all-important goal on 70 minutes. Tommy Morgan left the defence in his wake on the right before crossing for Chris Whelan to slot home.
Garry Evans and Morgan also went close while Inter's best chance fell on 75 minutes, when Terry Boyle flicked on a Nigel Vaughan free kick, but Lyndon Jones headed wide with the goal at his mercy.
