SAINTS BOUNCE BACK IN STYLE
LLANSANTFFRAID showed little sign of weariness from their European travels as they swept aside Holywell Town in their return to League action.
The Saints endured a gruelling trek to Poland in their CUp Winners' Cup exit last week, but bounced back in style to run out comfortable victors to gain their first League win of the term.
Andy Harpet had given the Wellmen a 22nd minute lead against the run of play, when he found the net with a deflected 30-yard strike.
However, Saints carved countless chances and it was no surprise when they levelled one minute before the interval, when Arwel Jones was left unmarked to head home Simon Abercombie's corner.
Garry Evans, Adie Jones, Abercrombie and Gary Curtiss all went close after the break, and young midfielder John Leah impressed on his debut.
It was Adie Jones who put the visitors ahead on 67 minutes when he blazed home from six yards after Abercrombie had headed down an Evans free kick and Andy Edwards sealed the win late on after good work by Tommy Morgan.
