BOGEY TEAM BOMBSHELL FOR CHAMPS

BARRY Town's long run as unbeaten League of Wales favourites ended dramatically at Llansantffraid when they were defeated by the side that denied them the Welsh Cup in last year's final.
The jubilant Saints also savoured sweet revenge for their Cup defeat at Barry's hands this season.
Llansantffraid's draw at Jenner Park last October could be seen as a warning that they were waiting in the wings to de-throne the league leaders.
And back on their own ground the Saints rose to the big occasion by cranking up the tension to breaking point before delivering a dramatic last-minute knockout blow.
It was the proverbial game of two halves, with the high wind dictating much of the play. Barry had the better of the first period but Llansantffraid claimed the second half.
Both defences can claim to have influenced much of the play, as both sides were tight at the back and as deadlock developed it was clear that one goal could be enough to decide the outcome.
Barry looked threatening after 31 minutes when Gareth Knott found himself in space on the edge of the six-yard box. But his well-struck shot was equally well saved by Andy Mulliner at the expense of a corner.
Eight minutes later, Barry were pressing again.
Mulliner miskicked and the ball ran straight to Darren Ryan. He saw Mulliner off his line and decided to rely on a long lob but fired the ball just wide.
Graham Breeze's home side breezed back into the game with the wind at the interval. And Frank Mottram was the first to show, but his overhead kick was safely held by Mark Ovendale. Ryan tested Mulliner again in the 64th minute but the keeper kept his goal intact.
The stalemate seemed rock solid with only seconds to go. But a set piece dramatically ended a tense struggle.
A free kick taken by Garry Evans was hit firmly to the far post, where Arwel Jones climbed above the defence to meet the ball with his head and give Ovendale no chance as he directed it into the top corner.
