FIFTH STRAIGHT DRAW FOR TNS
TNS notched up their fifth straight draw of the campaign in a six goal thriller with Cwmbran. Saints must be close to setting some sort of record but they are desperate to break it with a win after the unbeaten run still sees them in the bottom half of the table. A nip-and-tuck affair saw them take a second half lead before having, once again, to score late on for a share of the spoils. Cwmbran had earlier drawn first blood through Simon Dyer, before skipper Gary Evans carved out an equaliser of individual quality. Evans then turned provider to play in Adie Jones to give Saints the lead on the hour. Cwmbran fought back when Dyer scored his second from close range and a Paul Clemence header then swung the visitors into the lead, before Damien Currier pressure in the box forced an own goal three minutes from time. |
