BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED WATER FOR LIDO

DAVID Bridgwater provided TNS with a first-half lead and Nicky Ward added a second in the final minute of this League of Wales clash.
TNS threatened to make an early impression, putting the Lido defence under pressure, with Ward cracking a shot just past the post.
Lido's best chance of the half came in the 12th minute only for Greg Hurley's corner to be cleared by visiting skipper Timmy Edwards.
The stalemate was broken in the 29th minute with Ricky Evans' comer being side-footed home at the far post by Bridgewater.
Three minutes into the second half, Carl Evans had a goalbound strike rebound off Dean Williams.
Lido's appeal for a penalty after 54 minutes was turned down after Mitchell Patton had been grounded by the TNS keeper.
The Seasiders' maintained their attacking style and Andrew Davies fired a good chance wide.
With three minutes remaining, Carl Evans went close for a second time in seeking out an equaliser.
In stoppage time, TNS broke through for goal number two with Ricky Evans again the creator, supplying a defence-splitting pass to allow Ward to drive home an angled shot.
