Three-goal Jiws sinks Druids

A HAT-trick from Marc Lloyd-Williams gave Saints victory and sent them four points clear at the top with a game in hand over.
Jiws opened the scoring at Plas Kynaston after just three minutes when he converted well at the near post from a John Lawless cross.
But any thoughts of a another goal rush were soon dispelled by the battling Druids, who fought back well and levelled just eight minutes later.
Saints failed to clear from a corner and Mike Thompson found the net with the assistance of Gerard Doherty's near post.
A scrappy first-half saw Saints fail to get the ball out wide and chances were few and far between, although Mackin was forced to save from Lloyd-Williams after 21 minutes and again from a Scott Ruscoe 20-yard free-kick just before the break.
But four minutes after the restart TNS were in front again, as Jiws stole in at the back post to head past Mackin from Steven Beck's excellent right wing delivery.
A good move down the right by Druids saw Thompson just fail to convert from a low cross to the far post, but after Barry Hogan had fired wide from another Beck delivery, Saints killed off the game.
Keeper Mackin went to claim the ball but got in a mess with his defenders and Lloyd-Williams was on hand to put the ball into an empty net to notch his fourth hat-trick of the season.
Lawless nearly added a fourth when his shot flew across the goal and just missed at the back post, but Scott Ruscoe came closest to increasing the Saints' lead with a 20-yard shot that hit the post with Mackin beaten.
Overall a weary performance from TNS in the face of a hard-tackling home side that picked up another five yellow cards to add to their woeful disciplinary record.
Toner and Ward returned to the bench after injury and the squad now has a well-earned eight day break.
