LAST GASP SAINTS CLINCH SECOND PLACE
A LAST-GASP strike from Steve Evans helped TNS secure runners-up spot in the League of Wales.
The defender pounced from close range a minute into injury time after Chris Taylor's header had been tipped on to the bar by keeper Greg Evans.
The Saints had been left to reflect on failing to make the most of their chances after holding the upper hand for most of the game.
Full back Gary Powell saw an angled drive deflected on to the bar by keeper Evans early on while Scott Ruscoe was also denied by the goalkeeper.
TNS continued to open up the better chances with Powell having another shot blocked before John Toner bundled the rebound over the bar.
Ruscoe also chipped over after rounding the keeper but Llanelli, producing a spirited display, went closest to breaking the deadlock in the first half.
On 32 minutes, defender Stephen Healey's header was cleared despite claims the ball had gone over the line.
TNS continued to struggle to find a way through after the break with Steve Evans heading wide while substitute Jodie Jenkins also went close with one effort sliced wide with the goal at his mercy.
Toner had the ball in the net on 77 minutes but his effort was ruled out for a foul by Steve Anthrobus on keeper Evans.
Llanelli could have snatched victory five minutes from time when Mark Dickeson crossed from the right but Nick Palmer missed the target from close range.
And the young visitors were given nothing to show for their efforts as TNS secured the points in the dying moments.
