POWELL SEALS QUARTER-FINAL SPOT

TNS sealed their League Cup quarter-finals place thanks to Gary Powell's goal in their final group game at Treflan.
Powell struck the night's decisive goal four minutes into the second half with a fine dipping volley from the left.
The Saints, who topped their group with 10 points from four outings, were denied three times by the woodwork in the first 25 minutes.
Chris Edge fired against the post on four minutes, Powell also put an effort against the upright moments later while Anthony Wright's 23rd-minute chip from the edge of the box was tipped onto the bar by keeper, Andy Mulliner.
Despite TNS's early efforts, Newtown should have taken a 35th-minute lead when Steve Rogers had a penalty saved by keeper Mark Deegan after he was fouled by Chris Taylor.
