Larger than life anchorman and influential midfielder who motivates, organises and goes in hard. Very experienced, tough-tackling, defensive midfielder who signed for TNS from Conference outfit Chester City in July 2002. A former England semi-professional international, he had signed for Chester from Torquay in January 2002 after appearing in over 200 League games for the Gulls, Hull, Blackpool, Bury and Doncaster Rovers. Suffered bout of breathlessness at Connah's Quay in February 2004 and decided to retire from the game on medical advice. Joined Unibond Leaguers Witton Albion as assistant manager in November 2004. Surprisingly resurrected his playing career in summer 2005 with a move to Conference National outfit Halifax Town, Southport and Burscough. Returned as assistant manager in June 2007.
