Tally played alongside his manager, Ken McKenna, at Bangor City and in the successful Conwy side that took part in the Uefa InterToto Cup in 1996. In his second spell at TNS, a strong defender and calming influence at the back, who is just as comfortable with the ball at his feet as he is in the air. Joined in summer of 2001 from Rhyl. Likes to get forward for set-pieces and score headed goals. Had chalked up more than 280 appearances for Welsh Premier clubs and virtually ever-present for TNS in 2003/4. Signed a new 12-month deal for 2004/5 and, despite not commanding a regular first-team spot, always proved highly dependable when called upon. Called time on his TNS career are lifting Welsh Premier championship and Welsh Cup medals to cap a fine period of service with the club.
