John is the club's record goal scorer and longest-serving current player, another survivor of the 2000 title winning side. Began his career as a trainee with Liverpool and burst onto the WP scene with Cemaes Bay before scoring 38 goals in 49 games for Conwy United. Signed for TNS from Conwy in November 1999, scoring on his debut against Connah's Quay. His pace and shooting accuracy are his best assets, although his scoring touch deserted him in 2002/3. Plagued by injury in 2003/4, but returned to his best form late on. Notched his 100th Welsh Premier goal at Llanelli on 10 October 2004. Signed a new 12-month deal for 2004/5 and has adapted well to a new right-sided role, leading to a new contract for 2005/6 and 2006/7.
