Profile: Chris Williams, #11 (Released April 2012)
A pacey winger who can play on either flank, came through the Stockport County youth system and made his Football League debut at the age of 16 years 256 days in a 1-1 League One draw against Watford.
After 34 league appearances and a further three in a loan spell at Grimsby Town, plus loan time at Leigh RMI and Northwich Victoria, he was released from Edgeley Park in March 2006.
A broken leg curtailed a permanent transfer to the Vics and he moved on to Stalybridge Celtic, where he scored five goals in 25 appearances, and Fleetwood Town, before arriving in north Wales with Rhyl, where he spent one season in the Welsh Premier and one in the Huws Gray Alliance before joining TNS.
